2016 Barking Mad Cabernet Sauvignon
VINEYARD - Estate grown at Reillys St Clare vineyard, Watervale. Rich red loam over deep limestone.
FERMENTATION - Cold soaked with prolonged skin contact.
MATURATION - 100% French oak hogsheads, 21 months.
BOUQUET - Ripe dark berries with a touch of spice.
PALATE - Full-bodied with rich layers of intense blackcurrant, dark chocolate, and a touch of mint. An elegant wine with velvety tannins, and a toasty, vanilla finish.
