2019 Reillys Shiraz

Estate grown on Reillys 1919 Home Block and St Clare vineyards, this wine has been crafted using traditional wine-making techniques of open fermentation and maturation in French oak hogsheads for eighteen months.

This full-bodied wine displays mouth-filling flavours of red and black berries with hints of mocha and pepper. A long lingering finish with velvety tannins completes this quality wine.

Enjoy now or cellar until 2029.

The 2014 opens with spectacular colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Inky freshly crushed blackberry aromas combine with dark plum and liquorice over a background of vanillin cedar and confectionery. The palate boasts a level of richness and concentration rarely seen at this price point. Opulent and lusciously textured the palate features decadently rich flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice, and dark plums with underlying vanillin oak and spicy pepper also present.
