We are proud to announce that Reillys is now recognised as a Slow Food South Australia member, and has been accepted into the prestigious 'Snail of Approval' program!

This globally recognised program aims to inspire producers, chefs and food businesses to use and promote the Slow Food principles of 'Good, Clean and Fair' food from our regions. Learn more about the program here.

Reillys has always adopted the Slow Food philosophy with our Long Lunch Indulgence Experience - handcrafted local wine, honest food and a landscape that asks you to slow down...

"Founded in 1989 by Italian journalist and environmental activist Carlo Petrini, Slow Food is a non-profit, grassroots organisation that aims to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from and how it tastes.

Members and supporters of Slow Food aim to create a world in which all people can access and enjoy food that is good for them, good for those who grow it, good for the surrounding community and good for our planet.

The Slow Food approach aims to preserve traditional foods and regional food cultures by supporting the production of food that is good, clean and fair.

• GOOD: quality, flavoursome and healthy food that satisfies the senses and is part of local culture
• CLEAN: production and consumption that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or our health
• FAIR: accessible prices for consumers and fair conditions and pay for producers"
