2012 'Copper Ox' Shiraz
More than 150 years ago, ox were used for their strength and endurance to haul loads of copper from the mines in
the hills and valleys to the port 100km away. These hills and valleys are today covered with vineyards and produce some of the best wine from South Australia. This wine is sourced from these vineyards and pays tribute to the mighty and hard-working ‘Copper Ox’.
Premium fruit from 91-year-old dry grown vineyards in the Clare Valley has produced this intense, full-bodied wine. Aged in new French oak hogshead barrels, it displays ripe dark fruit flavours combined with sweet vanilla, mocha, and aniseed. Silky tannins and lingering mouthfeel complete this rich South Australian wine.
This wine is aged to perfection. Silky smooth and ready to drink!
