2008 Dry Land Fortified Shiraz (500ml)
Super ripe Shiraz has been carefully selected from our St Clare estate vineyard with low yields at 1.5T/acre ensuring premium quality, full flavoured fruit. Traditional artisan winemaking techniques of cold soaking and open fermentation for 10 days have been used to extract maximum colour, flavour, and tannin from the berries.
After fermentation, the wine is fortified with brandy spirit and matured in American Oak hogsheads for 2 years resulting in a luscious, smooth wine with rich flavours of blackberry, cassis, and Christmas pudding. The velvety finish leaves you wanting more!
