Using fruit from our St Clare Vineyard, this Shiraz spent 15 months in a combination of French and American Oaks hogsheads.

The result is a generous wine with flavours of sweet fruit, vanilla and spice with well integrated oak and fine tannins.

"Reillys Clare Valley winery is a name to look for if you want wines of real character at very reasonable prices. The Ryder 2009 Shiraz has a syrupy blackberry nose with seasonings of spice and sweet oak and an almost amarone-like, nutty, oxidative complexity.
