Produced from premium fruit from an elevated site at Smyth's Vineyard where rich red loam covers deep limestone, this a classic Clare Valley Riesling.
A delicate wine with lifted floral aromas, follwed by a rich palate of fresh lemon and lime. Firm, crisp acid on the finish give a lingering and refreshing mouth feel.
Clare Valley is famous for producing premium riesling and our 2010 Watervale Riesling is no exception!!!
Produced from 42 year old vines at Smyth's Vineyard, this wine exhibits lovely aromatics of blossom, honeysuckle and green apple.
Free juice run extraction has produced fine acid structure on the palate, combined with fruit to give good balance and length. This wine has exceptional character!

"My normal preference is for vibrant young Clare Valley rieslings that leap out of the glass with their youthful vigour and zesty enthusiasm. This Watervale offering may be a year old but still has all that cheerleader charm. It's a wine with all the classic Clare attributes, lively citrus aromas with plenty of zingy lemon, lime, Granny Smith and dry marmalade notes on the palate, along with some slatey notes and delightfully refreshing crisp acid on the finish. Great with pan-fried flathead fillets."

It shows a hint of Nashi pear on the nose following through with a medium bodied palate of pear flesh and citrus fruit flavours. With a clean and zesty mineral finish, this is a beautifully balanced cool climate wine!

It shows mouth filling flavours of red and black berries with hints of mocha and pepper. A long lingering finish completes this quality wine.

A perfect blend of Grenache and Shiraz - you will love our Tawny Port!
Created using fruit from our St Clare Vineyard, our Blue Tongue Tawny Port is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Shiraz. After maturing with an aged spirit for 5 years in a combination of French and American oak hogsheads, this wine is smooth and luscious. With a palate reminiscent of Grandmas Christmas pudding it has flavours of raisins, sultanas and toffee with a hint of vanilla.
We have named our Port after the Pygmy Blue Tongue Lizard which is native to the Clare Valley region and was thought to be extinct until recently when some of the species were found near Mintaro. We are proud sponsors of the Pygmy Blue Tongue Lizard at the Adelaide Zoo.
